The Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games draw closer, our Sport Program is steadily building momentum. We currently have an exciting opportunity for many experienced and even not so experienced but passionate RUGBY people to assist with the delivery of the Rugby Sevens event at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games.
This is an excellent opportunity for the rugby supporters of India to get behind the team and be part of this exciting event showcasing rugby to the world.
Working closely alongside the Competition Manager – Rugby 7’s, you will assist with the delivery of the Rugby Sevens event and ensure compliance with the International Federation rules & regulations, the Commonwealth Games Federation Charter and also the Host City Agreement. Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to maintain open communication and develop strong relationships with all the stakeholders.
At this stage we are canvassing interest and the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee will be formalizing applications during 2010.
The exact time requirements are to be finalized soon but interested people should plan to be in Delhi for at least the time of the Games in October and a test event in April. Si if you can get yourself to Delhi and accommodate yourself the Rugby Sevens need you as a volunteer!
